Anti Racist Embodied Action

Anti-racism is not an intellectual exercise – it is an embodied stance of ongoing action in the world, where you orient your life towards creating racial justice, body sovereignty and economic justice.

It requires identifying, confronting and excavating embodied patterns of supremacy – power dynamics, shaming, body policing, discipline and more.

Anti-racism work is fundamentally about restoring humanity – including our very human ability to feel with. As humans we are born empathetic and co-attuned – meaning when one person is hurting, we all are hurting. It is the systems of domination and body oppression that disconnect us from this capacity for empathy, allowing us to perpetuate harm on one another and dividing us socially.

Thus, to create a world that is safe, joyful and pleasurable for us all, we must do anti-racist embodied action – and not consider it separate from our explorations of the erotic, sensual and sexual realms of human love!

Ready to explore what anti-racist embodied action might look like?
