Getting Off Script

Podcast: Play in new window | Download

Tune in on: Spotify | RSS

Getting off script means confronting the social scripts, expectations and norms that have shaped who we understand ourselves to be, in and out of the bedroom. Getting off script requires us to examine our social identities, both assigned and chosen, and determine where we have more agency to express more of who we are and want to be.

In this episode we tackle this complex yet necessary task of getting off script and getting more real with who we are as specific humans and erotic beings. Getting off script allows us to be more unique and powerful in our specific gifts, while attracting community and love around our most authentic selves.

Power Bottom Playbook

What is a Power Bottom? What does it mean to Power Bottom? Can anyone be a Power Bottom? Does power bottoming mean you have to also be a size queen? We explore all these questions and more in this free podcast episode, the Power Bottom Playbook.

Being a power bottom is all about receiving with pride and being an active receiver. Power Bottoming is not specific to any one sexual act or experience and is certainly not about size of penetration. Being a Power Bottom is fundamentally about embodying pride, practicing erotic agency and opening up to receiving.

Power Bottoming calls upon many different erotic skills and attitudes. Continue the conversation with the resources on this page as you explore your own relationship with receiving, opening up, getting penetrated, actively bottoming and the other embodied experiences of the Power Bottom identity.

JUST for this episode we are offering The Butt Bundle – a highly discounted multi-course bundle with all you need to know to experience butt bliss.

Glimmers and Sparks – Coming Home To Pleasure

Podcast: Play in new window | Download

Tune in on: Spotify | RSS

If triggers are the cues that send our body into stress and survival mode, glimmers are the antidote. Glimmers are our invitations back home into a state of calm, safe social belonging. Glimmers are moments that remind us to return to pleasure, rest, calm and connection – no matter how big the storm around us. Glimmers are cues of safety, and thus as different for each of us as trauma triggers are to survivors.

To explore your Glimmers, think about where you have felt most safe, held and connected in your life. What does it feel like to feel safe? What are the sensations, emotions and embodied experiences you associate with safe social connection?

In this episode, we explore Glimmers – a term coined by Passionate Polyvagalist Deb Dana – and invite you to explore your own Glimmers as opportunities to shift back into the realm of pleasure, relaxation and joy.

We also push the idea of Glimmers into new territory by proposing Sparks – bigger embers of erotic wanting that, when captured and savored, can pivot our embodied experience in a quicker blaze! Sparks are erotic ideas, thoughts, memories, sensations and yearnings that when given space to burn move your entire being into the sensations of not only safety but wanting. Not only belonging but also craving.

Glimmers are the twinkles on the horizon that remind us who we are, where we belong and what our bodies love – it is up to us to move towards them and actively practice returning to the state of calm, relaxed awareness. This is the physical state where more pleasure, joy and connection are possible, and where our erotic beings can thrive.
